The month of August brings the Chamber's biggest fundraising event of the year. The auction is a lively gathering of people ready to bid on some very nice items, donated by area businesses and individuals who graciously support the Chamber. Attendees can also participate in the Live and Silent auctions while dining on a pit-cooked steak dinner with all the trimmings.
A $35 ticket is good for the steak dinner as well as the ability to bid on items, but the Liberty-Dayton '500' tickets, at $100 each, offers purchasers the opportunity to have their ticket placed in a large tumbler for the chance to win any one of fifteen top prizes, ranging from large screen TVs, to laptop computers, to decorative quality art, or even gold bullion! Tickets are drawn in reverse order. The last entry pulled is for the top prize.
Watch for tickets to go on sale during the month prior to the event.
Thanks to the assistance and generosity of our local radio station, KSHN 99.9 FM, Chamber Radio Day is held during the month of May as one of our annual fundraisers. Chamber members, staff and volunteers work three-hour shifts from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. bringing you news, sports, weather and "music mixed with things that matter" throughout the broadcast day.
Three on-air commercials can be purchased from the Chamber for a total of $75 to promote your business, club, organization, upcoming event or just to congratulate a graduating senior or recognize a good deed. Advertisements are read on the air, and trivia questions are given to the listening audience every hour for the chance to call in and win a prize.
The advertising form is made available online prior to the event under Forms & Documents.
