Your
membership in the Liberty-Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce earns
the support of a professional staff that works full-time for
you and your fellow members.
Aside from increased visibility for your business, opportunities
are available to get involved in the Chamber's volunteer activities
to help build a stronger economy and brighter future for our
communities.
Here are some of the ways your business can benefit from Chamber
membership:

Monthly
Newsletter
When you become a member, you are listed in our monthly newsletter
along with contact information and a brief description of your
business. If you desire a ribbon-cutting, an announcement of that
event is posted as well. For a small fee of $50 you may place
an advertising flyer in the newsletter at any time. Approximately
520 copies of the approved information should be received in the
office the month prior to publication.
Chamber Directory
The directory is published yearly and distributed to over 400
fellow members, in addition to businesses and countless visitors
to the Chamber office. Your membership allows a free listing in
the directory, and you may purchase advertising space ranging
in cost from $85.00 for a quarter page ad to $250.00 for a full-page
display.
Web Site
Our web site, a 2nd place winner at the annual Texas
Chamber of Commerce Executives convention in 2004, receives
many requests from individuals seeking local and area information.
As a member, you or your business will be listed categorically
in our web-based Member List.
In addition, we announce our new members and ribbon cuttings directly
on the site, and publish photos of each event when available.
Radio Air Time
Each month, the Chamber participates in the Party Line radio program
courtesy of KSHN 99.9 FM,
heard throughout the region. New members are recognized on the
air.
In-House Promotion
Your business cards and any related brochures will be displayed
inside the Chamber office. Visitors and those looking for a particular
service will have direct access to your information.

Monthly
Luncheon
Chamber members gather each month to hear a guest speaker or informative
program. If you are a new member, you will be introduced during
the luncheon and will have the opportunity to immediately network
with others in attendance.
Chamber Meeting Room
The meeting room is provided free of charge to our members for business,
civic and social events (reservations are required). Partial kitchen
facilities are available for your convenience. Please contact the
Chamber at (936) 336-5736 for information. |

Chamber
Gift Certificates
Gift certificates are sold by the Chamber at the Chamber office,
and are redeemable at participating Chamber member merchants. They
can be used like cash only within the Liberty-Dayton area at participating
stores, but are not redeemable as cash at any bank or business.
Chamber Gift Certificates provide a unique community-wide multi-store
gift certificate instead of the traditional one-store certificate,
and encourage people to shop with local Chamber members instead
of going out of town. In addition, the program provides an avenue
where local businesses and companies can give away local certificates
for safety awards, attendance awards, bonuses, birthdays, graduation,
and so on.
Chamber Gift Certificates have several benefits. They keep money
circulating in our community; they promote our local Chamber of
Commerce businesses; they're the perfect gift when you aren't sure
what to give someone; and they're one more reason to be a member
of the Chamber of Commerce!
The Chamber also partners with the Lee
College Small Business Development Center to assist those needing
help with a startup business, or improving the operation of an existing
business. |

Why
Should I Become A Member of My Chamber of Commerce?
The
Chamber of Commerce carries the reputation of being a leader of
business integrity in my community, and my affiliation lends my
business credibility.
The Chamber of Commerce is a close-knit
organization in which members support each other's businesses.
My Chamber of Commerce has a voice
in the legislation that is passed at our state capitol. That legislation
directly affects how I am able to conduct business in Texas. I
want to have an influence over the legislation that my Chamber
of Commerce endorses.
The Chamber of Commerce requires
financial support in order to perform its job of increasing the
economic prosperity of the area which it serves.
The Chamber of Commerce unifies the
public spirit of my community and directs it into useful and constructive
channels that are not limited to business.
I feel a sense of personal obligation
to improve the quality of life in the community which I live.
