The Liberty-Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce will hold our 43rd Annual Awards Banquet on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at the Dayton Community Center. Attendees will gather at 5:45 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. for the banquet starting at 6:30 p.m.
During the banquet, awards are presented to volunteers who have supported the Chamber and our area. The Citizen of the Year for Dayton and for Liberty, for year 2018, will also be awarded. There are many deserving people that we know, and we need to be aware of both those who "go about doing good" in a quiet way, as well as those who do the same and are more visible. If you know of such an individual, please consider that person for nomination for Citizen of the Year. Please read the instructions on the forms linked at the bottom of this page, and remember this is an award given for a ‘lifetime of service’ not just recent years.
On the back of the form is a list of prior recipients. These individuals are excluded from being nominated, along with Chamber staff and current directors listed here on the website, and on the forms. Please remember to provide detailed information on the form. The committee that will review the nominations may not personally know your nominee, so for the person you nominate to receive the proper consideration in the selection process, please take time to be thorough in completing your form. Forms should be returned by 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 6, 2018 by mail to P. O. Box 1270, Liberty 77575; or drop them off from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. at 109 S. Main – Dayton, or 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at 1801 Trinity Street, Liberty. You can also fax them to 936-336-1159 or e-mail to email@example.com. The application form must be signed by the person who nominates the individual and detailed information must accompany the form. You may also submit a picture of your nominee, if you wish.
Please contact the Liberty-Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce with any questions you may have. 936-336-5736 or 936-257-8926. Thank you!
