What we, as a Chamber of Commerce, are doing:
We are working to follow CDC guidelines regarding handwashing and sanitation. As of July 6, we have opted to once again close our offices to walk-in traffic due to the rising COVID numbers as well as advice from the July 2nd executive order. We ask everyone to be familiar with the latest information from Governor Abbott's office (see the links below under "STATE RESOURCES").
We have postponed, or canceled, most Chamber events in the immediate future involving groups of people indoors. We will evaluate the safety of holding events as time goes on and more guidelines from authorities are released. It's safe to assume that annual activities seen on our website are likely postponed or canceled in 2020 until further notice.
We are urging everyone to continue shopping locally and supporting local businesses to minimize the impact on our economy.
We are monitoring the latest information from our state and federal representatives, and government agencies. We post links to this information here on the COVID-19 page and on social media.
