The Liberty-Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce is organized to advance the general welfare and prosperity of the Liberty-Dayton area so that its citizens and all areas of its business community shall prosper. All necessary means of promotion shall be provided and particular attention and emphasis shall be given to the economic, civic, commercial, cultural, industrial and educational interests of the area.
Along with the City of Liberty Community Development Advisory Board, the Chamber is also allocated the duties of promotion and marketing services for City of Liberty business incentives, as outlined by the Texas Enterprise Zone Program under Ordinance 2010-7 (effective 02/23/2010).
The Liberty-Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce is the oldest chamber in Liberty County, Texas. Businesses and individuals looking to visit or relocate to our communities often contact us first for information on south Liberty County and the surrounding area. As an area chamber, our interest spans beyond the immediate vicinity to issues and events throughout the region, and the state, that could impact our local communities and member businesses in Southeast Texas. At the same time, we recognize and promote the leisure activities that contribute to overall quality of life, and make our cities and towns a great place to "live, work and play".
The Liberty-Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce has been honored with several awards over the years, including recognitions from the Texas Chamber of Commerce Executives. Some of these honors include awards for our community maps and website, a recognition for our Visitor's Brochure and a recognition for our newsletter.
